The STEM Finance Learning Exchange
Overview
The Finance Learning Exchange (FLE) supports coursework, work-based experiences and opportunities for students to learn about careers in accounting, banking services, business finance, insurance, property and real estate management, securities
Educators can enlist the FLE to improve the coordination and delivery of resources, work-based opportunities, career guidance and partnerships for students. Educators have access to professional development opportunities, curriculum
The FLE is one of several learning exchanges in Illinois for careers related to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
Partners
Econ Illinois guides the planning of the FLE, identifying, building, and coordinating a statewide network of key private and public stakeholders to develop and implement the Exchange. Stakeholders include business leaders, professional organizations/associations, workforce investment boards, educational institutions, student organizations, research centers and other community partners.
The STEM Learning Exchanges are part of the Illinois Career Pathways program, emphasizing the important connections industry professionals can have on students and their workforce development.
